As the seasons cycle and time flows on, winter—a season of accumulation—finds all things retreating to conserve energy. Yet in this cold end-of-year period, the "Ying Foundation" brought forth a heartwarming school-aid campaign. Led by President Mr. Xiao Jie and Vice President Mr. Li Wei, the Foundation’s compassionate team journeyed to Liu’ao Primary School in Wuchuan, Guangdong, like a warm winter sun, carrying boundless care and hope for a "Warm Winter School Aid" activity.
Upon arriving at the school, the team was greeted by a campus that, though slightly aged, brimmed with vitality. On the playground lay donated love supplies from the Ying Foundation: printers, air conditioners, computers, and various teaching and sports equipment.
The donation ceremony began amid the children’s warm applause. Foundation members handed out gifts filled with love, and the children’s faces lit up with radiant smiles, as if the winter chill had instantly melted away.
This act of giving was more than a material donation; it was a heartfelt connection. At the ceremony, Foundation members engaged deeply with the children, sharing stories of growth and listening to their voices. The children’s innocent words overflowed with love for life and dreams for the future. The Foundation’s care, like spring rain nourishing the earth, nurtured these seeds of aspiration to take root and grow.
Subsequently, the team jointly planted a "Love Tree" in a corner of the campus, hoping the children would thrive like the sapling—strong and steadfast.
After the ceremony, the team embarked on home visits to impoverished students’ families. Dim lights and simple furnishings did not dampen their enthusiasm but instead strengthened their resolve to help. Sitting side by side with parents, they listened to family hardships, delivered daily necessities and grants, and offered practical support. Words of warmth and encouragement gradually eased the parents’ furrowed brows, providing a solid foundation for the children’s educational journey.
As the sun set, this meaningful activity drew to a close, but the Ying Foundation’s journey of love never ends. Every act of aid and every contribution they make serves to support rural education and social development. May this warmth continue to flow through the river of time, helping more students chase their dreams and embrace a bright future of their own.
